Calibration of measuring instruments
The competence of SLM to carry out the calibrations of measuring instruments impartially and with full credibility was confirmed by the accreditation of its metrological workplaces by Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) upon proving the fulfilment of STN EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements as early as in 2002. After the re-accreditation of the metrological workplaces by SNAS, their competences are demonstrated also by the available certificate on accreditation K-100.
Testing the measuring instruments
The competence of SLM to carry out the tests of measuring instruments impartially and with full credibility was confirmed by the accreditation of its metrological workplaces by Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) upon proving the fulfilment of STN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 requirements in 2008. After the re-accreditation of the metrological workplaces by SNAS, their competences are demonstrated also by the available certificate on accreditation S-358.
Certification body for products
SLM Product Certification Body is competent to perform certification of non-automatic weighing instruments, water meters, gas meters and volume conversion devices, active and reactive electrical energy meters, heat meters, measuring systems for the continuous and dynamic measurement of quantities of liquids other than water, automatic weighing instruments, taximeters, material measures – capacity serving measures and exhaust gas analyzers in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065: 2012. SNAS confirms this competence with certificate of accreditation P-017.
Coordination of the interlaboratory comparison measurements
The provider of interlaboratory comparison measurements has successfully completed reaccreditation and demonstrated compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17043: 2010 Conformity assessment. General requirements for proficiency testing testing and Standard ISO/IEC 17043: 2023 Conformity assessment. General requirements for the competence of proficiency testing providers as amended by ISO/IEC 17043: 2023/A11: 2024. Following reaccreditation and assessment of the transition to the new standard, this competence is confirmed by the valid certificate of accreditation T-001.
