Colleagues from the Length Laboratory used the Renishaw XL-80 to calibrate the flatness of a granite slab directly at the customer's premises.
The Renishaw XL-80 is a high-precision laser interferometric system designed for measuring motion systems, which uses a stable laser beam and sophisticated optical components to achieve nanometric accuracy.
