Johann Wolfgang von Kempelen Prize in Testing Awarded for 2026
On 28 May 2026, on the occasion of the "Testing Day 2026" Conference, awards were presented to distinguished experts and teams in recognition of their long-term contributions to the fields of testing, conformity assessment, accreditation of conformity assessment bodies, and market surveillance of designated products.
From our organization, Ms. Ing. Mária Danková received the Johann Wolfgang von Kempelen Award in the field of testing for her significant achievements in providing conformity assessment services, for expanding and improving the quality of these services, and for her lifelong active work in the field of conformity assessment. Throughout her career, she has also made a substantial contribution to enhancing the prestige and reputation of SLM, n.o. both in Slovakia and abroad.
The awards were presented by Ing. Peter Kadlec, Chairman of the Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing of the Slovak Republic.
