Our metrology experts from Length Laboratory took part in an excursion to the Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava this week. The excursion mainly included a practical demonstration of the calibration of levelling instruments and invar levelling rods.
The meeting resulted in an agreement on mutual cooperation in the preparation of calibration laboratory accreditation and partnership in the calibration of various construction instruments for customers of Slovak legal metrology.
The excursion was led in an educational and engaging manner by the Head of the Department of Geodesy, Prof. Ing. Alojz KOPÁČIK, PhD., who willingly answered all our questions.
