Presentation at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering TUKE
At the beginning of October, our colleague Miloš Ujlaky, Director of the Metrology Department, accepted an invitation from Prof. Ing. Michal Kelemen, PhD., Director of the Institute of Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics and Production Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University of Košice, as part of the "Lecture by an Expert from Practice" activity, prepared and presented to students the always popular presentation on the topic: Did you know that? Or, what you may not have known about metrology. For example: "Did you know that in a typical commercial flight, more than 5,000 measurements are taken every second – altitude, pressure, speed, position, load, fuel... Boeing 787 contains thousands of sensors, or that there are more than 1,000 critical parameters measured in an aircraft?"
