Presentation of the Ján Andrej Segner Award for Metrology – Conference of the Calibration Association
The 61st Conference of the Calibration Association of the Slovak Republic took place in Piešťany on April 21 and 22, 2026.
The event featured a rich program full of interesting topics from Slovak metrology and European legislation, as well as the presentation of the Ján Andrej Segner Award for Metrology.
From our organization, our colleague Peter Cintula was honored for significant technical solutions in the provision of metrological services, the development and improvement of metrological services, significant publishing activity in professional journals, and lecturing at professional events in Slovakia and abroad. Another award went to our colleague Jozef Potančok for his lifelong active work and contributions in the field of metrology.
We warmly congratulate the recipients and are immensely pleased that they are part of our organization.
