Based on its experience, SLM can prepare thematically focused training courses in the field of metrology.
As a training organization and accredited educational institution, SLM offers a wide range of training courses led by experts with practical experience in metrology. Our professional training courses offer a comprehensive combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The main objective of the training is to explain the essence and importance of metrology. The training courses provide a wealth of information from experts in the field, an overview not only of general metrology and metrology legislation, but also the opportunity to see metrology in practice in our laboratories. The training course culminates in a certificate of completion, which guarantees the quality of the training and ensures that the widest possible range of specialist information is provided. We prefer to hold training courses in smaller groups in order to address the real issues faced by specific companies. We offer the opportunity to review the suitability of existing documentation in relation to normative and legislative requirements.

- Training in the requirements of normative documents such as EN ISO/IEC 17025, EN ISO/IEC 17043, ISO/IEC 9001, and other standards related to the field of metrology,

The latest offer from SLM is a metrology course that offers three levels of education, namely BASIC LEVEL (reliable measurement in organizations, metrology minimum), MANAGEMENT LEVEL (measurement management in an organization – company metrologist), and EXPERT (metrology laboratory technician performing activities in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17025).
As part of our educational activities, we can process and comment on metrology regulations, guidelines, and work procedures, perform expert measurements, process analyses and technical assessments, and perform comparative measurements.
SLM not only supports the education of its own employees and participates in professional events, but also actively participates in the organization of metrology conferences for the purpose of transferring the latest information and raising awareness of metrology in industrial practice and everyday life.
