Calibration of measuring instruments

The competence of SLM to carry out the calibrations of measuring instruments impartially and with full credibility was confirmed by the accreditation of its metrological workplaces by Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) upon proving the fulfilment of STN EN ISO/IEC 17025 requirements as early as in 2002. After the re-accreditation of the metrological workplaces by SNAS, their competences are demonstrated also by the available certificate on accreditation.

Testing the measuring instruments

The competence of SLM to carry out the tests of measuring instruments impartially and with full credibility was confirmed by the accreditation of its metrological workplaces by Slovak National Accreditation Service (SNAS) upon proving the fulfilment of STN EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 requirements in 2008. After the re-accreditation of the metrological workplaces by SNAS, their competences are demonstrated also by the available certificate on accreditation.

Coordination of the interlaboratory comparison measurements

The coordinator of the interlaboratory comparison measurements has passed successfully the re-accreditation and proved the compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO/IEC 17043: 2010 - Conformity assessment - General requirements for proficiency testing.

SLM Product Certification Body is competent to perform certification of non-automatic weighing instruments, water meters, gas meters and volume conversion devices, active and reactive electrical energy meters, heat meters, measuring systems for the continuous and dynamic measurement of quantities of liquids other than water, automatic weighing instruments, taximeters, material measures – capacity serving measures and exhaust gas analyzers in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065: 2012. SNAS confirms this competence with Certificate of Accreditation no. P-017.
